Trying to remember old 2d mining game

Question

Started out with the character at the top at a saloon / shop. Could buy various things like dynamite and pick axes. There was a mine shaft on the right side of the screen, to descend into the mine. Had various hardnesses for the ground being mined. Also could see traces of nearby material. The mined material was different too (silver, gold, diamond, etc. etc.) I remember if you tried to go off screen the game would give the message "here be dragons". The mine would cave in every so often and do damage / kill you. That is about all I can remember. Anyone have any ideas?
