Does party size affect chance of better loot?

Question

I know that it increases monster HP, and that experience and loot gained are separate from other party members, but do we have a higher chance of obtaining rare loot from having a larger party?

Asked by mombi

Answer

Party size does not affect loot drop quality. Your drops are individual and the same as if you were solo.1 Drops are different for each party member, increasing the probability of more relevant or interesting finds when discussed, shared, and traded between a four-person party.

Diablo 3: Autoloot all items

Question

Even low mobs seem to drop gold in multiple bits - so probably bosses are likely to drop lots of stuff separately.

Do I always have to click every single item or is there a way to quickly loot everything on the ground?

Asked by ThiefMaster

Answer

Nope, gold and orbs must be run over (within a certain range) to be picked up and, like past Diablo games, items must be clicked on within a certain range to be picked up. You can increase the automatic gold pickup range with magic items that have the range property.

If you're out of range of an item, your character will move to a spot close to the item you clicked and pick it up.

Does destiny affects loot you get in Kingdoms of Amalur?

Question

So i was wondering does anyone know can changing destiny change the loot you get.Like if you take sorcery destiny will that make it so most items you get in the game world are weapons/armors mages use,or finesse destiny would make it so you mostly get finesse weapons/armors.

I am playing as pure warrior atm and most items i find in chests or dead bodies are warriors weapons (Greatswornds,Longswords,Hammers) and warrior armors, now i do get items for other "classes" but not as much/often as warriors items.

Asked by ChrisHateZ

Answer

No, not from my experience. The loot drops appear to be random, and not impacted by your choice of skills or destiny. I have no points in Might, yet I find heavy armor, swords, and hammers with alarming regularity.

Do note that even if you have a weapon or piece of armor that you can't use due to your skill choices, you can still break it down at a blacksmith workbench to recover components you can use to build armor or weapons for your chosen skill tree. Not all components will be reusable in other items, but more often than not you'll find something you can use.

Also, since you can respec at any time, if you find something overpowered that's not for your chosen class, you can stick it in your stash in case you decide to re-roll later.

Where to sell Dragon Bones and Scales

Question

There's a great question on what to do with dragon bones and scales, and there's even a question on whether you can buy them, but the question I'm after:

Question: Where can one sell those blasted Dragon Bones and Scales? Is there a list of merchants that will buy them?

Edit: I'm not looking for just a vendor, but preferably a list of vendors (as I've collected about 25 of the them). The ultimate answer would also have an indication of (approximate) amount of gold available on the merchant.

After some searching I found a list of merchants on the Skyrim Wiki, but that doesn't answer my question. The page on Dragon Bone gives a little bit of info on selling them, but no clue on where to sell them.

My follower would certainly be very thankful for any answer to this question, as she's probably getting tired of hauling this loot around...

Answer

Any general goods store will take them: the two ones you'll hit early on are the Riverwood Trader in Riverwood and Belethor's General Goods in Whiterun. Others include:

General goods stores, without the "Master Trader" perk, generally seem to have around 750 gold.

I just confirmed LessPop_MoreFizz's suggestion that apothecaries (potion shops) take them, too: Arcadia's Cauldron, for example. Others include:

Apothecaries, without the "Master Trader" perk, generally seem to have around 500 gold.

Beyond that, if you invest in the "Merchant" perk in the Speech skill, you'll be able to sell them anywhere you want, and if you invest in "Master Trader", every merchant will have a ton more gold.

The easiest thing to do is do a circuit amongst the general goods stores and apothecaries (or, if you have "Merchant" and/or "Master Trader", all stores in an area). By the time you're done fast traveling, you'll likely have spent 48 hours and can sell to the original merchant again. But if that's still not convenient, sell to a merchant, and wait 24 hours twice: (relatively) instant restock.

How to loot non grounded bodies in World of Warcraft?

Question

For many times I have found myself in the following situation:

enter image description here

How can I loot the body when this situation happens? In this case I can't touch it from the ground or from the top of the rock. I can't loot while flying as well. I have tried to jump, but can't loot while jumping...

So how to loot non grounded bodies?

Answer

Sometimes you can fall from the cliffs above and loot the body while falling. It's tricky, but sometimes works. You will likely need to slow down your fall and enable autoloot.

I'm not entirely sure if this still works. It's been a while since I had to try. Usually, though, it's probably not worth the effort.

Solid chests respawn rate in WoW?

Question

I found a Solid Chest in World of Warcraft and I looted it. After how much time will it respawn so I can check it again?

Answer

You are not supposed to camp chests.. The chests in the game (Solid Chest etc) are still in the old world and contain mostly very low-level loot that won't do you any good. In the higher level areas there are no chests at all, so don't waste time with chests.

Also they don't respawn at the exact same spot. There are a number of spots where they can spawn but it's rather unlikely they will re-appear at the same one.

Here is a map of all spawn locations for Solid Chests: http://www.wowhead.com/object=2850
