I just started playing Medal of Honor today on my PC, and I started with the lowest mission, for "beginners." However, I get stuck a few minutes into it because I have to jump over barrels in a hallway. However, I can't figure out how to jump! I tried a bunch of different keys and nothing seemed to work. Does anyone know?
I've never played the game, but jumping defaults to space bar (or sometimes right-click) in every FPS I've ever played.

According to the wikia page, "It is available instantly to users that pre-ordered the Tier 1/Limited Edition of the game". How do you get it if you haven't pre-ordered the Limited Edition and it's no longer available?
According to this official EA blog post/press release (emphasis mine):
Today Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) announced a Limited Edition version of Medal of Honor that will grant players exclusive access to the MP7, a unique weapon utilized by Tier 1 Operators in the field.
In addition to exclusive access to this gun, the limited edition also unlocks other weapons without having to rank up first (specifically the TOZ-194 and 870MC2 shotguns).
Other resources, including this guide seem to confirm that the only way to-date to unlock this weapon in multiplayer is to have purchased the limited edition.
For most people, this means the gun is inaccessible in multiplayer.

The open beta for the new Medal of Honor title is currently going on, prior to its release on October 12th. Does anyone know if ranks and customization will carry over via your EA account from the beta to the retail launch?
I would suspect no, but couldn't find any source saying as much.
I did some searching. I can't find any official EA person saying no, but I have seen a lot of other people saying it(here's one where he mentions ranks too) and no one saying yes or even maybe, so I'd highly doubt it since you don't in most betas anyway. =/

I bought the retail English version of Medal of Honor 2010 (everything on the box is only English).
When I installed the game, the installation was in French and when I start MoH, everything is French (dialogues, text, UI). I run Windows 7 Ultimate English but my keyboard and locales (date format, currency...) are French-Canadian. I guess the installer detects (badly) the language and then setup the game based on the detection.
My problem is that you can't change the language from the UI of the game/installer. I used the live help from EA and the guy told me to uninstall, download the online installer and reinstall (what's the point of buying retail if I have to download 4+GB for the same game!?). I then opened a ticket and it got closed without any update from them (nice work EA).
It took nearly an hour to install the game. I don't feel to uninstall/reinstall everything based on a wild guess.
Anyone know a way (registry key, INI file entry, anything) to change the language in Medal of Honor 2010?
