How does one get the earth shakers by the exit in Descent 2 level 19

Question

Just indulging in some retro gaming, I've downloaded Descent 2 from gog.com, and I've got a particular query:

There are a couple of fenced off areas next to the exit in Level 19. They have a mesh grille over them and contain a couple of the invisible bots with phoenix cannons. In them are a couple of earth shakers. Where is the trigger that opens them?

Answer

Right, found it. There's a switch in the exit corridor. Shoot it before you exit and the gratings will disappear. Then you can collect the earth shakers.

What's the purpose of the Golem at the Cliffside Airdock in Bryyo?

Question

In Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, if you land on Bryyo at the Cliffside Airdock, there's a large room with grapple hooks along the top, and a disabled Mogenar War Golem. I think the room is called the "Grand Court"? I got the X-Ray visor and managed to restore power to the Golem which stood up to reveal a pool of Phazon. But that was all! Am I missing something? I've been longing to activate this Golem since I first found it early in the game, expecting some amazing prize. Where's my energy tank, damnit?!? :-)

Answer

Have you destroyed the Leviathan Seed on Bryyo yet? According to this the only item in the room is a Red Phazoid (which only begin to appear after you've destroyed the appropriate Seed) and it's associated gold credit.

What's the point of the watch timer?

Question

One of the "power ups" in Worms Crazy Golf is a watch that has 10 seconds on it. If you click it after you've hit the ball, everything slows down. As far as I can tell, that's all it does. Everything plays out normally, just slower. Is there a point to this? Something I can do while time is slowed?

(I verified that the level clock keeps running while in slow-mo.)

Answer

I'm not sure if it does anything else, but it looks like it enhances any spin you've put on the ball, allowing it to curve further in mid-air than it would otherwise. If you're trying to curve around something the better option is the parachute, so this is still sort of pointless.
