In the Basshunter song “Boten Anna” (edit “DOTA”), what game is he talking about playing?

Basshunter has a techno song called "Boten Anna", sang in another language, but you can easily find translations for it. He is talking about playing a game, and if I am not mistaken, the game is called "Boten Anna". However, if I search that term, all I come up with is the Basshunter song. What game is he talking about playing?

Also I think I recalled him talking about "Dota". Maybe that is the game he was talking about? Or maybe that was a different song referencing Dota.

Correct song name is "Dota". Made mistake thinking about wrong song name. And the game is actually called DoTA.

How to counter Riki ?

I am wondering how is it possible to counter Rikimaru?

SCENARIO: Farming solo on the upper lane. Gem on me. Get blinked/smoked/purged. I'm dead. For the sake of the argument he has butter/bahser also.

What is there to do?

Scenario:

Say you have bkb. He can't purge but let's say he went for skady not diffusal. You are dead.

Say you have hex. He has bkb. You are dead.

Say you have eul. You stand in the air for a good amount of time. Smoke is almost out. He gets in fog trees as you are in air. He blinks/smoke,your eul is on cd(smoke has less cd). You are dead.

Say you have forceStaff/ghost scepter. You actually can get out of smoke. Now we are talking. There is an ok amount of heroes that can wipe riki out of smoke, although I can't think of a ranged carry which could(sylla ranged and troll ranged would fail also).

DoomBringer aka Lucy - doom him. He can't backstab,bash,blink. He is fresh meat.(yeah farmed Pudge can wipe him too)

Syllabear Cuirass,double bash,engtangle. 'Nough said.

Void Ulti. 'Nough said

Alchemist @lvl 16 with ulti and good build just omg.

Slardar -armor,Bash,Bash,Bash,Stun,Bash,Bash,Bash. Yeah, you are dead.

Puck - now this hero is just imba at evoiding/escaping. If he is really really good you are dead. Slow(ish) damage dealing but silence/Orb+phase shift/dagger/eul/hex/forceStaff and it's just crazy.

Well, here the list might go on. I could add some more heroes in here. Even so,I think the main thing you gotta think about is getting out of the smoke. Then, you have a good range of possibilities.

Also, if you have a carry hero, go for MKB for truestrike and then if you are feeling confident go for the kill in the smoke as you have no miss chance, but still you can't use your skills. Even so, this is doable.

Is there a way to solo the fountain?

As the title sugests. Is there any hero that could destroy the fountain by himself? I have seen many teams together destroying the fountain but I was just wondering if a solo full-item build hero could.

How would I go about to do so?

Answer

OK first of all and easiest you can do it with Sniper lvl 7. His range is bigger than the fountain's range and you could easily do it as long as nobody is bothering you. There is no other ranged hero who can destroy it solo.

For melee heroes, the easiest way is to buy Vladimir's offering as it grants lifesteal from the fountain.

Leoric is best suited for this as your passive lifesteal works on the fountain so you won't even need Vladimir's — just damage. Though Vladimir's makes it very easy.

Rikimaru is probably in top three due to the 75% miss from smoke. Just get butterfly and some rapiers and you should do it. Attack until 30% then smoke: you will be almost full. Lather rinse repeat.

Last one which worked for me is Faceless Void, although he is a little harder as Chronosfere doesn't work on fountain. Passive skill for damage block and a butterfly, full rapier should do it.

If you are not that selfish, bring on a Crystal Maiden with you. She can cube the fountain making it easy to kill with any hero.

What actions does Legion Commander's “Duel” Abillity restrict?

The Legion Commander's ultimate skill "Duel" disables spells and items and 'some' passive abilities during its duration.

IE: Supposedly one of these passives is critical strikes.

Can anyone break this skill down and explain in detail what exactly you can and cannot do while under its effects?

  • True Strike, MKB

  • Maim, Sange, Heaven Halberd, dan Sange and Yasha

  • Feedback, Diffusal Blade

  • True Sight, Gem

  • Immolation, Radiance

  • Damage Block, Stout shield, PMS, Vanguard.

  • Cold attack (RANGE), Eye of skadi

If you ever see the animation of bashing or mana burn,or activated items they were activated duel started.

As you can see castable things are disabled since it is supossed to be "autoattack" duel without interferance and most orb effects and passive skills are disabled since some of them make targeted enemies impossible to defeat imagine duel with ursa or slark,if they had their passive skills it would be clear suicide.

Basically the duel casts "doom" on you and your target here is even larger list.
