Fairy tale point and click adventure from the 90's

When I was but a young lad, my parents bought a computer and gave my sister and me a very limited amount of games to play.

One of them, I remember, was a point and click adventure game set in a land that was filled with famous fairy tales from Hans Christen Anderson or Grimms.

It was made for younger kids, the plot was basically you had to go around to all these different scenes and either talk to the various characters (Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella, Alice, etc.) and then you had to go find some items they lost or are missing to save the day.

I remember that the graphics were very whimsacle, as though they were all hand panted, then digitally converted.

I remember that the game would be random every time you would play it, so no characters or items were ever in the same place twice.

I remember that the point of the game was to learn the basics of all the featured fairy tales.

Anyone remember the game I'm talking about?

I'm pretty sure the game is Mixed-Up Mother Goose:

The game had characters from Mother Goose - not Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella, nor Alice - but did feature Jack and Jill and Jack Be Nimble, so it's a fair trade.

What was the name of this old children's computer game set in medieval times?

I was born in 1996, and sometime when I was young, not sure what age exactly, I remember playing this cartoony point and click game where you had to solve puzzles and stuff. It was similiar to the "pajama sam" games. It took place in a castle and I think there were missing knights of the round table that you had to find. Does anyone know what the name of the game I'm thinking of is? I'd really love to know!

If it was on NES, it could have been Castle Shadowgate. Castle Shadowgate was a point and click that, predictably enough, took place in a castle. It was on the Nintendo NES.

Game where you solved a mystery in Paris?

Question

I remember playing this game on Mac in about 1999. It was a point and click game, and you had to solve some kind of mystery. It was set in Paris I think. Here's a few things I remember:

• At one point in the game you used plaster of paris and a bar of soap to copy a key
• You collected a clown nose at one point
• One scene (the finale?) was in a moving train carriage
• At one point you had to go on the window ledge between two hotel rooms and throw something down to the alley below.
