Crysis PC has auto-aim when played with a gamepad?! Can I disable it?

It's really obvious with the Automatic Grenade Launcher in Crysis Warhead. The AGL doesn't have an aim mode, so the view shouldn't change at all when you squeeze the left trigger. But if your reticle is near an enemy, the camera jerks in their direction.

I prefer the ergonomics of a gamepad and I don't want this crutch -- especially when it backfires and actually makes some shots more difficult. Is there a CVAR or something?

I've discovered at least two types of auto-aim in Crysis/Crysis Warhead. The first takes effect when switching into aim mode. It just jerks your reticle toward the nearest nearby target. The second type takes effect when firing. It's like a sort of magnetic attraction that dampens recoil drift -- very noticeable with automatic weapons.

Anyway, both types of auto-aim can be disabled via CVARs! Set aim_assistAimEnabled and aim_assistTriggerEnabled to 0.

If you bought Crysis through Steam, add these to your launch options:

+aim_assistAimEnabled 0 +aim_assistTriggerEnabled 0

Is it necessary to play Crysis Warhead in order to enjoy the full game experience?

I want to buy Crysis, but I see there is Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Crysis Max Edition. The thing here is that Crysys Warhead has a multiplayer component, but does it add anything extra to the story of Crysis, or does it only add multiplayer?

Crysis Warhead isn't a multiplayer component. It's a fully single-player game in fact, telling the story from the viewpoint of Psycho, with in my humble opinion better gameplay than the original.

You're talking about Crysis Wars, which is a separate game bundled with Warhead, as its multiplayer component. This is in contrast with Crysis where the multiplayer was integrated.

I would say getting Warhead is definitely worth it to add to the story and have a multiplayer game.

Where can I get the English Language Packs for Crysis?

I got today my original copy from Crysis Maximum Edition. I got it via Amazon Germany. The thing is that this copy only contains German, Turkish and Russian languages but I don't know any of those languages.

So long story short!

Is it possible to get an English Language Pack for Crysis?

Someone else seems to be in this position, judging from this post on the Tech Support Forum.

The answers from the site moderators indicate that you can't legally download these.

If you do not have the English pak on the CD like Koala said we wont be able to help you as it will infringe on EA's copyright agreement.

Yes, there are different DVD's of the game with different contents (language pack), each DVD has a license agreement. So If you have a DVD from Australia and send it to Turkey but the Australian version has no Turkish language pack you are unable to alter the game due to the license agreement as it will be altering the original copy which resides on the DVD.
