Ok heres the scenario, Huskarr with burning spear in auto cast rushes at me with his ulti. My hp reduces to half of what it was, with his damage constantly increasing with berserker's blood (and me attacking him back and reducing his HP) and my hp reducing because of the burning spear, i die (in some cases i am left with a two digit HP, after killing him but i die anyway because others would have caught me by then). Who is the best counter for sacred in 1v1 situations like this?
To counter the specific situation you have described there are two possibilities: to escape alive, or to kill him outright. In my opinion, trying to go one-on-one with Huskar is almost always ill-advised due to his skill set. So I have broken this up with heroes that can reasonably escape while still damaging Huskar to a degree and lastly a hard counter.
Windrunner - using the windrunner ability, depending on level, you have from 3-5 seconds of 100% evasion, 50% increased move speed, and a small area of effect slow around your hero. While this skill can usually be advised for aggressive engagement usage, as an escape, it is ideal to run from Huskar. Shackleshot is also a solid escape tool depending on your ability to position yourself and predict the enemy's movement.
Mirana - even while being attacked, with a few steps back arrow and starfall should be relatively easy to land for either a small stun (if early levels) or a large amount of nuke damage (later levels). Huskar's skills are all based around losing health and gaining bonus damage so burst damage is your friend here. In an ideal situation you would have teammates that could follow-up with finishing the kill, but most likely you can turn at this point and leap toward safety. Leap is also a pretty solid counter to Huskar's ultimate, Life Break. Where Life Break was suppose to slow for 5 seconds, after leap you will gain some move speed back due to the leap move speed bonus.
Anti-Mage - dive in to add a few attack swipes before using blink to escape in any direction, blinking in a direction other than straight back will help as it is less expected.
Void - similar tactic to Anti-Mage, but using Timewalk instead and with the added perk of Chronosphere to either give you more time to attack or get away.
[Hard Counter] Spectre - With desoloate adding damage since you are one on one, and dispersion soaking up anywhere between 10-22% of damage dealt to you, the only large variable here is whether your items are farmed yet.
Force staff - push yourself in some direction away from attack.
Eul's Scepter - use on Huskar if you are alone and need to run or on yourself to allow teammates to focus down Huskar and you can rejoin a few seconds later either to use nukes that were on cd or hopefully persue a now heavily injured Huskar.
Sheep-stick - polymorph/hex as a counter for any carry, for the most part.
Ghost Scepter - you can still be attacked through manually casting of Huskar's orb, but this will be far far slower than if he was auto-attacking with his berserker blood buff.

I completely suck at DotA i am somewhat familiar with Nevermore. I can never kill any enemy heros even on easy. What strategies can i use to defeat enemy heros?
I do the basic get last hit to get cash and thats pretty much all i know. I buy the trent boots which is set to agility. The first two things i buy is a courier and the reg with +5 hp regen. I then get that sword with critical hits and upgrade it after getting demons edge.
I still suck and cant kill enemy heros even tho i have +130 damage (or more). What can i do?
Nevermore is actually one of the more powerful heroes there are a couple things you should know about him:
Staying alive: Nevermore's damage is largely proportional to how many last hits you got since you last died. So stay alive! You're going to need Lother (which turns your invisible) or Kelen's (which teleports you) to do this, so after boots (str or phase) this is your first pick up.
Combo: because you have 3 shadowrase, you need to cast it more than once to kill. Figure out the middle range usage (hint its the same range as your basic attack) and then follow up with short (if he comes after you) or long (if he runs away). You can also combo it to get more kills.
Requim: This skill trades on being right next to your target, so combo it with Lother or Kelen's for maximum effectiveness.
Ability build:
Damage: Most of your early game kills revolve around Shadowraze, but once you get to mid game you're going to want to pick up some dps. Demons Edge is very nice, as is Manta Style (with bonus to survive). Stygian is going to be essential in late game as it stacks with your Presence. Nevermore doesn't trade on his life steal, but Mask of Madness' on use ability is nasty. I usually go for Demon's Edge -> Stygian -> Buriza. If you're still looking for items after that Skadi or Satanic are both good, but you should be in end game by then.
Ok, it sounds like you have a larger problem than working well with Nevermore, that extends to DotA in general.
A carry is a late game hero who can push a lane and take out 3-4 opposing heroes with little support. A Hard carry is a character who needs to farm up all game specifically for late game. A Soft carry is a player who doesn't have a ton of late game abilities but can become very powerful late game due to ganking.
Ganking is a term for going into an ally's lane and helping to kill their enemy. This technique usually relies on surprise and coordination. Ganking is useful for all heroes as nearby heroes split the xp of a kill and the last hit gains significant gold. Agility based heroes usually operate as glass cannons early on, so ganking is a way to gain experience and gold with minimal risk (the risk usually being getting ganked).
Nevermore's ganking technique usually relies on casting shadowraze back to back. Ideally you can get an ally to stun the target and there fore get off all 3 shadowraze. Once you hit level 6, if you have full Necromasty use your lothar's to get right on top of an opponent and Ult. Follow this up immediately with shadowraze (remember to attack first so you're pointed in the right direction, but don't wait for the attack to go off). The target should be low and try to run. Just dps him down till he's in range of your next shadowraze and enjoy the kill.
Farming is another technique to get to late game with an agility hero. Nevermore is especially good at farming in his own lane (known as laning) because of shadowraze. Adjust your range to be ideal for mid-range shadowraze (you can do this by attacking). Wait till the last one of your melee creeps is about to die then cast shadowraze. This should kill some of them and injure the rest. When they come into melee range your second shadowraze will finish them off. This is excellent farming technique, but very mana intensive so stock up on consumables.

I own a Macbook Pro. I want to play a PC game called WarCraft 3 - Defense of the Ancients. I have googled and done some research on how to play DotA on a Mac.
Most of resources I found recommended I buy Warcraft 3 for Mac version (yes, there is warcraft 3 for mac). However, I already own the PC version, and I don't want to waste another $60++ bucks to buy a Mac version (it's an old game as you guys already know).
I also came across some forums suggesting using a virtual machine or using Bootcamp to install Windows and play.
Using bootcamp and installing Windows sounded good for me, but after I did more research, I found that since I don't have experience with using Bootcamp, I might crash or need to reformat my Mac(when partitioning). Apple also recommends doing backups for your Mac when using Bootcamp. I do not want to go through all this troublesome things, thus I will not choose this method.
My last option is to install virtual machine. I used VirtualBox and already installed Windows XP. It runs and works perfectly fine. Now, I am wondering, if I install Warcraft into this virtual machine, and play the game, approximately 5 hours a day, will it crash my Mac?
Okay, to give a summary, following are my questions about running Wacraft 3 on VM Windows XP on MacBook Pro:
1) Will the game lag, the video render okay, etc? 2) Most importantly, will it damage my Mac?
If you have others methods of playing DotA on a Mac other than what I mentioned above, those are welcome too.
Firs, you should reconsider not buying it. You can have i for 20 USD, available for download at Blizzard site. Furthermore, IIRC you can register you activation key on the new Battle.net site and download the mac version for free.
As for you questions about the VM machine:
First, it should not damage you mac in any way, that's the point of a virtual machine. It's software computer, using a software hard drive. If it damage your machine, there is something really wrong with the program.
Warcraft 3 could run on it, but if it require graphic acceleration, don't expect too much. Some VMs have implemented graphics acceleration, but it is mostly experimental. Although, I think it should be OK for Warcraft3.

I've been trying to find the similar information for SC2 but the most I can see is a basic match history and the # of wins, am I missing something? It would be nice to view a detailed statistical information about your profile.

SC2 Ranks has a match history, and can also show win percentage by map, but I believe they skim off the Battle.Net API, so it won't be any more than Blizzard provides in the first place.
If you want more information about your own matches, SC2 Gears can look through all your past replays and give you much more information. What it can do is too extensive to list here, check out their features page.
