Which Pokemon are easy to turn into “medalists”?

Question

I'm trying to have one of my Pokemon win all of the Pokethlon events, but this is naturally not such a simple matter since most Pokemon are only strong in certain areas.

Therefore, I was wondering if anyone could point me to Pokemon which are good "Medalist" candidates, with or without the use of Aprijuice. If Aprijuice is involved, I'd be glad if you could specify the apricorn mix used to make it.

Firstly, it's entirely possible to have 2 Pokemon "carry" a third weaker Pokemon in the events that he's not ideal for, throughout pretty much every event.

Second, if I'm not mistaken, you can change the build of a Pokemon using Aprijuice between events, so that you can customize it for the specific events you want to go. It's not like EVs where they are permanent. I'm not positive on this, however.

How do you obtain another Master Ball after you have used the first one? In: Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver

i want to catch another legendary pokemon but I'm all out of master balls's :(

To obtain another Master Ball after having already used the first one, you must have some luck on your side. The Goldenrod Radio Tower has a Lottery Corner, where if all 5 numbers of the ID of any of your Pokemon match (including those in the PC), you will receive a Master Ball. You can do this multiple times, but takes a lot of luck and patience.

You can also have a friend trade over a Pokemon with it holding a Master Ball.

If you have an Action Replay, you could use a code to get another Master Ball.

Why won't Daisy Oak massage my Pokemon?

Question

For the past few days, I've visited her in Pallet town between 15:00 and 16:00, and all she's done is yammer about her tea. Do I have to fulfill some other condition for her exclusive services?

Edit: Also, I have gotten a massage or two in the past, so I'm thinking it's some kind of timing issue.

In order for Daisy to massage your Pokémon, you need to have beaten the Elite Four, and visit her between 3pm and 4pm. Additionally, your DS knows if you have altered the time on its clock. Changing the time will void that day's time-based events, so you can't just turn your clock to 3:01pm.But if that's the only time you can make,turn it to the apropriate time so the next day when you come back from work you can get a massage.

Is there any move that cures the enemy pokemon's status problems?

I am currently engaged in a desperate struggle to capture the roaming legendary beasts. I have my sights set on Entei at the moment, having brought it down to 1 HP and paralyzed it. Sadly, it is still infuriatingly difficult to catch.

This was all done before I realized that applying the "sleep" condition is preferable than applying the "paralysis" condition for the purpose of capturing pokemon.

Seeing how you cannot afflict a pokemon with two status ailments, I would like to cure the Entei's paralysis so that I could make it sleep instead. Is there any move that will allow me to do this?

There are at least three ways. Unfortunately, none will work on your scenario.

Fling, when used with a corresponding status healing berry, should recover the status condition. However, it counts as a 10 Power attack prior to causing the effect, so you would not even be able to throw a Sitrus berry for healing before you would kill something at 1 HP.

Trick and all of its derivatives can be used to swap a status healing berry onto the target. None of the Legendary Beasts have held items to my knowledge, though, so this won't work.

Finally, the moves Wake-Up Slap and Smelling Salts will cure Sleep and Paralysis respectively. But not only do they do damage, they do double damage to such an afflicted Pokémon. So like Fling, not viable.

Where can I train my Pokemon in HeartGold/SoulSilver after Kanto?

I have been using the Elite Four to train my Pokemon while running through Kanto. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of defeating Blue in Viridian City without leveling up my Pokemon enough, so now the upgraded version of the Elite Four is very difficult (All their Pokemon are lvl 60-70). Where is a good place to train in order to quickly level up my Pokemon, which are around the mid to low 50s?

If you have a Sinnoh game from the 4th generation, the best method is actually to trade them to that game and train them up on the wild pokemon in the Battle Zone (the island containing the battle frontier), especially Route 227 and Stark Mountain.

The highest level wild Pokemon in the Johto remakes are the level 45-50 Pokemon in Mt. Silver and the lowest floor or Cerulean Cave.

If you don't have any Sinnoh games, your best option is to keep doing rematches with trainers, which can be found by the exclamation marks next to route names on your Pokegear map (some of those trainers just want to give you items, but most are rematches). or just keep attempting the Elite Four, even if you don't succeed (though this may drastically lower your Pokemon's happiness because of the repeated fainting).

Another option is to do Gym Leader rematches in the Fighting Dojo in Saffron City, but this is slow because you can only fight certain Gym Leaders each day, and you need to collect their phone numbers beforehand. A guide to getting the Gym Leader's phone numbers is available on Bulbapedia.After you get their phone number, call them at the correct time, and they will show up in the Fighting Dojo.

Their Pokemon are levelled up significantly. Most of the Gym leaders are in the 50-60 range, but some (Blue) go up to level 70.

How to connect to new Pokewalker?

My brother lost his Pokewalker and got a new one individually to replace it. I looked up about replacements here on Bulbapedia and tried the Up+Select+R thing. It gave the Pokemon back, but if you try to connect to the new one, it says it isn't registered. What do I do now?

Answer

At the Pokewalker connection screen, you must hold Down, X, and L on the DS. This is a necessary step so that you cannot clone Pokemon. After that, you should be able to connect a new Pokewalker.
