How does one hide the bottom UI bar?

Question

An example of what I'm talking about was seen during the large Roach-Hydra battle in the game between DIMAGA and JulyZerg as part of the GSL World Championship Team League.

Under what circumstances can you use this?

Answer

Try pressing Ctrl+W while observing a match. No clue if this will work when playing as it is mostly an observing/replay feature (and I can't test it right now).

How do I untrigger scroll lock on the map view?

Question

I just won a combat after-which it was impossible for me to scroll around the main map with my mouse. I was locked entirely to the area centered around my hero.

I checked under the hotkeys, but I didn't see any sort of "scroll lock" toggle. What do I need to do to be able to scroll the map again? (Or is this just a bug like the flickering cursor?)

Answer

This is a bug. There is no "scroll lock" option, but this is sometimes triggered if you try to scroll the camera too soon after an auto-save.

The only way to resolve the issue is to quit the game and reload.

What keyboard shortcuts are in Terraria?

Question

What keyboard shortcuts are in Terraria? Is it possible to change bindings?

Answer

These are gameplay hotkeys and can be re-bound by going to Settings → Controls. The keys listed here are the defaults.

  • Throw (Q) — Throws your currently active item away. Note that this will throw the entire stack (unless holding Torches, as they provide light even as a tossed item).
  • Quick Heal (H) — Consumes the first healing item in your inventory.
  • Quick Mana (M) — Consumes the first mana restoring item in your inventory.
  • Quick Buff (B) — Uses items that cause buffs or debuffs, unless their associated buff is already active. You can have a maximum of 10 (de)buffs, and this hotkey will stop when that number is reached.
  • Quick Grapple (E) — Shoots the Grappling Hook or Ivy Whip, if you have either in your inventory.

The following are mostly undocumented and hardcoded (i.e., can't be changed):

  • Fullscreen (Alt+Enter) — Enters and leaves fullscreen mode without having to leave the current world.
  • Quick Trash (Left Shift) — Clicking on items in your inventory while holding left shift will transfer them to the trash slot. If an NPC's shop window is open, you'll automatically sell that item to the NPC instead (even if it has no value).
  • Show FPS (F10) — Displays frames per second in the lower left corner; the number in brackets is liquid debug data of some description.
  • Hide UI (F11) — Toggles all user interface elements, including the cursor. This is useful for taking clean screenshots.

And, last but not least:

  • Screenshot (F12) — Takes a (JPEG) screenshot. This isn't technically a Terraria hotkey, but courtesy of the Steam overlay. Can also be re-bound to another key in your Steam settings.

Current as of Terraria 1.0.6.1.

How do you sheathe your sword? Also, how do I change the default controls?

Question

How do you sheathe your sword in The Witcher 2? Guards are attacking me in Flotsam and I have no idea how to do it.

Less specifically, is there anywhere I can look at (and ideally change) the default controls?

Answer

The launcher contains the video and in game options, it's a bit hidden (screens are from GoG version):

Start the launcher, click on Video and Language

Launcher(here, english)

In the options which are mainly video settings, there is a button below names Input Settings..., click that.

Input Settings button

Double click on current key value for an action, it will turn red, then enter your desired key for that action. Some keys are not bindable to anything else, like I for Inventory or J for journal. That put me off, too, since I use the ZGHJ layout and everything else around it.
You can also find gamepad settings here (Tab Gamepad)

How to change Razer Mamba “sensitivity stage up” shortkey?

Question

Is it possible to change button "sensitivity stage up" or "down", to any other keyboard key?

For example I want change to "Enter" the shortkey for "sensitivity stage up".

Answer

Yes, in the mamba configurator the 6th and 7th buttons are the sensitivity buttons. Just re affect them to "one key" and set as key. Hit ok and apply. You're done.

What is the default keyboard layout for Fable 3 on the PC?

Question

I managed to find the combat settings, and figure out how to change those, but I'm still looking for ways to access, for example, the main menu from the keyboard. Any pointers?

Answer

This information is in the manual page 7:
