Question
I just can't remember the name of this title and it's driving me crazy. It's a futuristic PC strategy game where humans take on aliens on a alien planet with the difference that you play pretty much all of it from a first-person perspective because as the commander of the army you yourself run around the battlefield.
I remember you could enter a command building and view the battle from up high or enter a vehicle you have created and join the battle yourself. If your vehicle was destroyed you could eject and had to escape because on foot your were cannon fodder. While on foot you could also snipe the pilots of enemy vehicles and steal their ride.
The whole game was about capturing positions that gave you resources and allowed you to build up your forces. Memorable units were the alien tanks which could transform with a very nice quicksilver effect.
Answer
