Is there a remake of Blood (created by Monolith in 1997)?

Is there a remake of the Blood game, created by Monolith? For instance, there is ZDoom that allows to play Doom, Heretic, etc. with mouse look.

Universal Build engine extender is OK too (is it possible to create one at all?).

I know about Transfusion, it sucked 2 years ago.

There are none as far as I know.

The Transfusion project was a death march in my opinion, they were trying to "update" an old game using an engine almost as old as the proper game.

The biggest problem with the Blood is that the source-code was never released, this makes doing a remake much harder.

I was a Blood fan back in those days :-) I actually did some development on my own. I wrote a plugin for Blender in Python that could read the Build levels and convert them into real 3D geometry. I posted it in the Transfusion boards but they didn't show much interest.

My next step was to write a simple 3D shooter using Ogre3d and load all the Blood geometry in it, but I ended up dropping the project.
