Question
I remember playing a game back in the 90's on my PC where you had a ladybug that walked on a branch in 3/4 perspective, which you had to program using logic gates and sensors.
Some sensors, as far as I remember, were whether there was a turn, whether there was shadow from a bird flying overhead (in which case you needed to stop the bug from walking or the bird would grab it), etc.
The game included AND, OR, XOR and other gates and you needed to connect the sensors via the gates to the actions the ladybug could take, such as walk, turn left, turn right and so on.
Does anyone know this game?
Answer
Could it be BugBrain?
Bug Brain is a game where you build brains to run a bug.
You start in the lab where you experiment with the neurons and nodes that make up a brain. From there you move out into the field to build a brain for a Lady Bug to help it feed and survive.
I found it via this question on StackOverflow, which if you're interested in this type of game, might be a good place to look for others.
(Do note that asking for game recommendations is off topic on Gaming, even though this question exists elsewhere within the Stack Exchange network...)
