Who is the stealthiest follower?

Playing a stealth thief, I find that followers (specifically Lydia) are not useful on missions.

She just keep getting us detected, so I'm forced to tell her to wait before starting a mission, which is annoying given that almost all dungeons have alternative exists that make me have to go back and get her again.

Is there a follower that would go well with a stealth character or should I not use any follower at all?

In general, you want a follower that has a relatively high sneak skill (use getav sneak in the console to see what their skill is) and wears light armor (or clothing) so their sneak skill is not penalized as much. For instance, Cicero has 69 sneak and wears clothing, so he is pretty good at sneaking.

For the truly sneaky, having no followers is often the best as you can still try to sneak away and hide rather than having to fight. Or at least one that can't die due to them being essential so you can run away and hide and not have to worry:

There is only one follower in the game that I know of that can be ordered to assassinate people, but her sneak skill is not necessarily the highest. She starts out wearing heavy armor, but her light armor skill is actually higher (so you should giver her some to help her boost sneaking).
