A game where you physically manipulate cubes/blocks?

There was a major release game (maybe from 2007-2009), where in the official trailer the main character manipulates cube blocks with some sort of force field from his hand. He can throw the blocks and debris and other things at his enemies. The commentary on it was boasting about the heavy physics of the game.

Does anyone know the name of this game?

I believe you're talking about CellFactor. There was a tech demo called CellFactor Revolution and game called CellFactor Combat Traning, both released for the PC in 2007 and a 2009 multiplatform release called CellFactor Psychokinetic Wars.
