Identify this mid- to late-'80s fighting arena turn-based game

Question

OK, I had this game that was bundled on a floppy disk with Defender and Space Invaders (I don't know if they were called that, but they played like them), maybe others but I'm not sure about that.

  • I played it on an old Apple II with a black and yellow screen.
  • It used a joystick.
  • It was turn-based.
  • It was just you and maybe multiple other fighters in an arena.
  • You got to choose what you wanted to do each turn.
  • I think one of the game mechanics was that you could throw enemies into a pit in the middle and off the edges.
  • The arena was either circular or polygonal with a pit in the middle.
  • The game started off with a menu screen to pick which game you wanted to play.

Answer

Arena of Octos is the answer. I wasn't sure which computer I was using so I couldn't limit my search results. Since the person who edited my post let me know I was using an Apple II I was able to search for this game.
