What was this epic PS1 co-op game with a wide variety of weapons to fight with?

Right, I only remember a little but it was a epic game, really really fun and great for its time.

It was for Playstation 1, it was 3D, and also allowed at least 2 players. It was the sort of 2-player game where it is co-op and you shared a screen, not one each.

I remember you could play a old man, a kid, and maybe a woman.

You were on a cruise ship (I think) and some terrorists (or someone) were taking it over, you would play one of the character and fight the bad guys, best thing about it was I remember fighting with a lot of weapons, like brooms and such.

Would be great if someone can guess it from what I have said, sorry for the lack of information.
