I have seen the Enderman pick up grass blocks but I want to know what blocks they can pick up and what block they can't pick up.
Answer
According to testing by Sir_Tiffy on Reddit, Endermen can pick up any solid block, except:
- Beds
- Cake
- Any stairs
- Fence (disputed)
- Gate
- Iron bars
- Glass pane (disputed)
- Slab (single or double)
- Pistons
The Endermen have been seen moving bedrock, chests (the content spills out, like when you destroy a chest) and furnaces.
According to the hole in the side of my monster grinder, Endermen can pick up blocks placed by the player.
