Identify this browser-based conquest game set in space

Question

I'm going to list all the details of the game I'm trying to remember.

  • This was text-based, browser-based, multiplayer game. I believe it was available before broadband was widespread.
  • The setting was space-age and your objective was to gather resources, build forces, and conquer other players.
  • Once a day or so, you received "turns" which effectively limited the amount of things you could do per day.
  • You could use your turns to collect resources, build ships, launch attacks, etc.
  • One of the things I remember doing a lot was grabbing asteroids and turning them into resource producers, but the more asteroids you converted, the more expensive the conversion became.
  • You could use a certain kind of ship to steal undeveloped asteroids from other players' systems.
  • You could build shuttles which would steal resources from other players during attacks.
  • You attacked other players by exploring and learning their coordinates which would then let you send attack fleets.
  • There was an active forum community, which had the frequently used phrase "No coords on these boards."

I don't believe game is not OGame, though they seem similar, though it's possible I am referring to a very old version of it.

Answer

That sounds like Planetarion, but as far as I know it's no longer active nowadays.
