Question
So when I was younger I never had a gaming console, I was never allowed one. But whenever I went to my grandparents on the weekend I played on their PlayStation 1. I remember one game that they had bought for me and I loved it. No matter how much I search I just cannot find it again. I've even looked through a full list of games for the PS1 (or supposedly a full list).
What I remember is:
- Game involved robots.
- Robots were customisable.
- As you fought new robots you unlocked new bodies/weapons etc.
- The game was on the PlayStation 1, not sure if it was available on any other platform.
- It was not robot wars!
- The robots were cartoony rather than realistic.
- the arenas could either be empty or have obstacles.
- The game may have been multiplayer not 100% sure.
- You took control of the robot when fighting.
- This is going back a good 7-8 years.
Thanks in advance!
Answer
Was the game Robo Pit?
You can build your own robot and the graphics were rather cartoony. The game came out in 96, so it was definitely more than 7-8 years ago though.
