Are there any cross-console multiplayer games?

Are there any games where PS3 players can play against Xbox360 players?

There's quite a lot of trash-talking between the two console camps at work, and it'd be great if we could find a game or two we could take each other on to settle the scores!

I suspect that one big thing that stops cross console multiplayer is that the game servers are owned/run by Microsoft or Sony for the XBox and Playstation respectively and neither will want the other to see their network and other code that they'll need to share to get this working.

Another reason could be that the games are subtly different on each platform which might give one console an inherent advantage. This might extend to downloadable content where there's something available on one console that's not available on another (a faster car, a better weapon etc.) which would give a definite advantage to players on one console.
