I was wondering, are there any movement speed differences if you hold specific objects in your hand?
I'm interested even in a small movement speed difference, like, in decimals.
Answer
No, there are no objects you can hold that will affect your movement speed.
Things that do affect your movement speed:
- Walking on soul sand
- Using a Minecart
- Swimming in water
- Sneaking
- Riding in a boat
- Explosions and TNT Cannons (assuming you live)
- Walking through cobwebs (currently not possible without inventory editing as cobwebs don't exist naturally in game)
