Question
Probably about 15 years ago, I played an old game at school where you choose a fish and you go about your fishy way doing fish things. The game would present you with an opponent. This opponent could be another fish, debris in the water, or random food bits. For each opponent, you decide how your fish reacts. You had choices such as EAT or SWIM AWAY or CHASE OFF. I remember eating smaller fish, being eaten by larger fish, and trying to chase away some seaweed. Somehow, you would progress to being able to play as larger fish, but I don't remember how.
The only thing I find when I try to google this game is James Pond...Any ideas?
For some reason, I would like to play this game again.
Answer
Almost positive that the game that you are describing is Odell Lake. This game was a wonderful game and was also followed up by an even better game Odell Down Under. I have lots of fond memories of both games being able to upgrade to large fish and pwn the food chain.
