Question
Can anyone remember the name of this Commodore 64 game?
The game is set on a spaceship which has been taken over by hostile robots. You have to use your robot to destroy the hostile robots. You take-over / possess hostile robots by playing a mini puzzle game. The game has a series of lights in the middle and you have to change the lights to your colour, you do this by connecting the lights through circuits on your side of the screen. The robot you are trying to take over does the same on its side of the screen.
Some of the robots you take over had guns / lasers that you could use to shoot other robots instead of taking them over.
Other features:
- Top-down view, robots are circles with a number to indicate model
- Spaceship has different levels accessed by lifts
- Levels had different coloured backgrounds, background went dark grey when you cleared the level.

Here's a link to a port of it if you fancy a bit of a replay on Windows or Linux: http://paradroid.sourceforge.net/
I used to love it - great game - although I found it ridiculously difficult. The circuit board minigame was very inventive, especially as the level of the other robot compared with you affected how many moves you could make compared with it.
Higher level robots couldn't be controlled for very long, so you had to keep switching from one robot to the next.
I almost completed the ship once, but I think there were another 7 ships or something to do afterwards!
