Who is Tarquin?

After curing the Genophage on Tuchanka, I was talking to James and he said "Too bad about Tarquin, I was just starting to like him." Is this a misinterpretation of

Mordin's

name or someone who I have forgotten entirely?

It's explained in one of the first conversations that you have with James onboard the Normandy that he likes to give people nicknames. This occurs after the

punching match that you have with him.

If you're male, he decides to call you "Loco" and if you're female, "Lola". You can ask him about this.

Shepard: What's with you and the nicknames?

James: It's just my way of remembering people. Some people just don't match their names, so, you know... I just give 'em a new one.

Tarquin was likely the nickname he thought up for the spoilered character.
